Our commitment to the environment

We live in uncertain times. Thanks to human excesses, our planet is facing an environmental crisis on a scale that’s never been seen before.

There are plenty of ways that we can all do our part to help. Here at Paste & Publish, our focus is on empowering community conservation groups, primarily in New Zealand.

We help by providing these groups with free marketing workshops and advice, to help them grow their voices within the community, and attract more volunteers.

“Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not.” - The Lorax

Supporting local conservation groups

Volunteer community groups are our unsung heroes in the conservation sector. Every year, they contribute millions of hours of free labour and play a critical role in looking after the biodiversity of their local areas.

But they're usually underfunded and often lack an active online presence. There's a significant opportunity for marketers to help by sharing our skills and knowledge, and for many of these groups, having a larger audience of people that care is potentially a game changer.

More volunteers. More opportunities. More impact.

Building capabilities for success

Our approach towards support is simple: “teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.”

When we launched P&P, we provided hands-on, free marketing services to community groups. However, we found that whilst it provided results, it didn’t help them to develop the internal skills required for long-term marketing success.

Today, we focus on building marketing capabilities within conservation groups, giving them more control over their future growth.

This is done through free in-person and online workshops, guidance and tailored advice. We also provide private sector funding and online promotional awareness through a charity that our founder developed, The Reforestation Fund.
